CAS :3-(Trifluoromethyl)benzaldehyde is an organic compound that has the chemical formula C8H7FO. It is a trifunctional molecule with three phenolic hydroxyl groups, which makes it a good candidate for drug design. 3-(Trifluoromethyl)benzaldehyde can be synthesized by reacting an imine with a chiral acid chloride in the presence of a base and a catalytic amount of DMAP.
