Applications 4-(Trifluoromethoxy)aniline is used in the synthesis of anticancer agents and antitumor medicaments. Also, its an intermediate in the production of labelled Riluzole (R510000), a neuroprotective agent. Modulates glutamatergic transmission. A glutamate release inhibitor. An anticonvulsant.
