CAS :Produit contrôlé7-Amino clonazepam is a metabolite of clonazepam. It has been detected in the urine of psychiatric patients and can be used as a marker for the diagnosis and monitoring of clonazepam abuse. The chromatographic method for detection of 7-aminoclonazepam is based on the analysis of human serum samples. The sample preparation is done by liquid/liquid extraction with methanol and concentrated under vacuum to remove water, which is then evaporated under high vacuum. Chromatography is carried out using an analytical column and eluted with a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile/water (7:3). Detection time ranges from 2 to 3 hours.
