K777 is a peptide that binds to the extracellular domain of the receptor for nerve growth factor (NGF), thereby inhibiting the activation of this receptor. K777 is a potent inhibitor of NGF-induced proliferation and differentiation in cultured PC12 cells, probably by preventing the binding of NGF to its receptor.
