CAS :Trimethyl phosphate is a model system for polymerase chain reactions (PCRs) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). It has been shown that the thermal expansion of zirconium oxide can be used to monitor the polymerase chain reaction process. Trimethyl phosphate is also a reactive molecule that reacts with crosslinkers in the presence of water to form trimethyl-oxonium ion complexes. This complex undergoes a nucleophilic substitution reaction, which generates an oxonium ion and a phosphate anion. The trimethyl-oxonium ion complex was detected by LC-MS/MS in cancer cells and tissues.
