Ethyl 2-acetyl-4-oxo-4-phenylbutanoate
CAS :Ethyl 2-acetyl-4-oxo-4-phenylbutanoate is a synthetic molecule used in organic synthesis as an intermediate. It is prepared by the cross-coupling of an aryl Grignard reagent with an azide. The reaction is catalyzed by copper and can be conducted on a solid phase, in order to avoid the use of solvents. This compound can also be used as an intermediate for the preparation of other compounds, such as amines, carbocations, and organometallic compounds. Ethyl 2-acetyl-4-oxo-4-phenylbutanoate has been shown to inhibit enzymes that are involved in carbonic acid production, including carbonic anhydrase and carboxypeptidase B. It is also possible that this compound binds to functional groups on proteins or nucleic acids.Formule :C14H16O4Degré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :248.27 g/mol
