Adamantane-1-carbonyl isothiocyanate
CAS :
Adamantane-1-carbonyl isothiocyanate (ACITC) belongs to the class of organosulfur compounds. It is an aromatic compound that has a hydrogen bond with adamantane-1-carboxylic acid. This chemical has been shown to have single-crystal x-ray diffraction and amine binding properties. ACITC has also been shown to be an isomeric form of adamantane, although it is not as stable as adamantane due to its instability in solution. ACITC can be synthesized by reacting thiourea with anilines in the presence of chlorine gas at high temperature. Adamantane-1-carbonyl isothiocyanate has been used in the crystallographic study of thiourea, which revealed its conformational changes.
Formule :C12H15NOSDegré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :221.32 g/mol
