Salinomycine sodique est un antibiotique ionophore polyéther principalement utilisé en médecine vétérinaire, en particulier pour la prévention et le traitement de la coccidiose chez les volailles. Il est dérivé de la fermentation de la bactérie *Streptomyces albus*. La salinomycine agit en perturbant le transport des ions à travers les membranes cellulaires, entraînant l'inhibition des parasites coccidiens.
