DCPLA-ME is a human cell-based diagnostic product intended to detect the presence of Alzheimer's disease in humans. DCPLA-ME is composed of a number of human cells, including neurons, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes. This product can be used to analyze the synaptic structure and function of these cells in patients with Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. DCPLA-ME also contains polyunsaturated fatty acids that have been shown to have neuroprotective properties. ApoE4 has also been detected in this product at levels similar to those found in Alzheimer's disease patients.
