N-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-N,3,4-trimethylbenzene-1-sulfonamide is a ligand that binds to ion channels. It has been shown to activate the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the heart and skeletal muscle. N-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-N,3,4-trimethylbenzene-1-sulfonamide also binds to a number of other receptors such as the serotonin receptor 5HT2A and the dopamine D2 receptor.
