CAS :5-Chloro-4-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole (5CNB) is an antimicrobial agent that belongs to the group of heterocyclic compounds. It has been shown to have bactericidal activity against a number of microorganisms in vitro. 5CNB's bactericidal activity is due to its ability to react with DNA and RNA and inhibit the synthesis of proteins. 5CNB is also able to react with amines, producing reaction products that are toxic to microorganisms. This chemical agent has been shown to be effective against a number of bacteria, including methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). 5CNB can be used as an optical sensor for the detection of chlorine in water samples.Formule :C6H2ClN3O3Degré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :199.55 g/mol
