CAS :
18:0-16:0 PC is a fatty acid found in human breast milk. This lipid has been shown to be beneficial for infants and for the prevention of cancer. It is an acyl chain with a myristic acid at one end, which can be either saturated or unsaturated. 18:0-16:0 PC is found in the lipidome, where it contributes to the uptake of other lipids. It is also used as a therapeutic agent against cancer cells by blocking fatty acid synthesis, which produces less energy for cancer cells and prevents them from proliferating. The structural biology of 18:0-16:0 PC has been studied in Caenorhabditis elegans and humans, revealing that this lipid may have anti-inflammatory properties.
Formule :C42H84NO8PDegré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :762.09 g/mol
