CAS :5-Ethyl-2-hydrazinyl-6-methyl-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-4-one is a hydrazine compound that has been shown to have antiinflammatory and analgesic properties. It binds to the pyrimidine ring of nucleosides and inhibits their incorporation into DNA and RNA. The compound also has a role in the metabolism of aromatic amino acids, such as tyrosine. 5EHTP is an inhibitor of acetylacetone synthase, which converts acetoacetate into acetylacetone. This inhibition prevents the conversion of acetoacetate into other products, such as 4-hydroxybutanal. 5EHTP also inhibits isatin dehydrogenase, which catalyzes the oxidation of isatin to 2,5-diketopiperazine (ketopiperazine).Formule :C7H12N4ODegré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :168.2 g/mol
