CAS :<p>2-(3,5-Dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-6-methylpyrimidin-4-ol is a tautomeric form of 2-(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-6-[(2R,3S)-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl]pyrimidin-4-ol. It is a potent inhibitor of lipases and has been shown to have antiinflammatory properties. The drug has also been found to decrease the number of inflammatory cells in the bowel and can be used for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. The drug may also be effective for treating other autoimmune diseases such as thyroiditis and scleroderma.
