Benzothiazol-2-yl-(4-ethoxy-phenyl)-amine is a compound that has been shown to be active against solid tumours and metastases. It has been shown to inhibit phosphatase activity in the presence of monoclonal antibodies, which is an indicator for cancerous cells. Benzothiazol-2-yl-(4-ethoxy-phenyl)-amine may be used as a diagnostic marker for determining the presence of cancer cells in patients with infectious diseases, such as HIV/AIDS.
