Mizagliflozin is an experimental drug that inhibits sodium-dependent glucose uptake in the intestine. It is being developed for use in the treatment of type 2 diabetes and obesity. Mizagliflozin has been shown to reduce blood sugar levels, body weight, and insulin resistance in rats with diet-induced obesity.
