CAS :Flunarizine is a drug that has been used to treat migraine and other headaches. It works by blocking the calcium ion channels which are responsible for transmitting pain signals from the nerves in the head to the brain. Flunarizine is a potent inhibitor of voltage-gated calcium channels, with an IC50 of 0.2 μM; it also blocks sodium and potassium ion channels at higher concentrations. The protein interactions of flunarizine have been studied using peptides and antibodies. Flunarizine also has been shown to inhibit phospholipase A2 and prostaglandin E2 synthase, leading to reduced inflammation, as well as being an antagonist at nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs).Formule :C26H26F2N2Degré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :404.5 g/mol
