CAS :Produit contrôlé11-Dehydrocorticosterone-13C3 is a synthetic glucocorticoid that is used as a nasal drug. It has been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor and interleukin-1β, which are involved in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. 11-Dehydrocorticosterone-13C3 binds to the glucocorticoid receptor with high affinity and specificity and possesses a hydroxyl group at C3 position. It is effective in inhibiting the production of proinflammatory cytokines in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes by blocking the function of nuclear factor kappa B (NFκB). It also inhibits the release of colony stimulating factors, such as granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor (GMCSF) and granulocyte colony stimulating factor (GCSF), from 3t3-l1 preadipocytes.
