    <p>4'-Isopropylphenylacetone is a chemical compound that is used in tobacco products. It is a nitrogen-containing aromatic compound that can be synthesized by the scission of phenylethyl, styrene, and styryl acetones with an alkali such as sodium hydroxide. 4'-Isopropylphenylacetone can also be produced from phenylethyl alcohol and acetic acid in the presence of sulfuric acid. The molecular structure of 4'-isopropylphenylacetone consists of three rings: two benzene rings connected to each other through a methyl group occupying the position between the two rings. 4'-Isopropylphenylacetone has been found in tobacco products, such as cigarettes and chewing tobacco.</p>
