Description :
Palladium est un métal rare de couleur argentée-blanche appartenant au groupe du platine, caractérisé par son point de fusion élevé, sa résistance à la corrosion et ses propriétés catalytiques. Il a le numéro atomique 46 et est désigné par le symbole "Pd". Palladium est connu pour sa capacité à absorber l'hydrogène, ce qui le rend précieux dans diverses applications, y compris le stockage et la purification de l'hydrogène. Il est largement utilisé comme catalyseur dans les réactions chimiques, en particulier dans les convertisseurs catalytiques automobiles pour réduire les émissions nocives. De plus, Palladium est utilisé en électronique, en dentisterie et en bijouterie en raison de son attrait esthétique et de ses propriétés hypoallergéniques.
