Description :
Argent, avec le symbole chimique Ag et le numéro CAS 7440-22-4, est un métal de transition connu pour ses propriétés et applications distinctives. Il a une conductivité électrique et thermique élevée, ce qui en fait un excellent conducteur, raison pour laquelle il est largement utilisé dans les contacts et conducteurs électriques. Argent se caractérise par son apparence métallique brillante et est hautement malléable et ductile, ce qui lui permet d'être façonné en feuilles minces ou tiré en fils.
