Description :
Étain, avec le numéro CAS 7440-31-5, est un métal argenté connu pour sa malléabilité et sa ductilité. Il appartient au groupe 14 du tableau périodique et a un numéro atomique de 50. Étain a un point de fusion relativement bas par rapport à de nombreux autres métaux, ce qui le rend utile dans diverses applications, notamment dans le soudage et le revêtement d'autres métaux pour prévenir la corrosion.
