Description :
Germanium est un élément chimique avec le symbole Ge et le numéro atomique 32. C'est un métalloïde, présentant des propriétés à la fois des métaux et des non-métaux. Germanium est typiquement un solide brillant de couleur grisâtre-blanc qui est cassant et possède une structure cristalline semblable à celle du diamant. Il est principalement utilisé dans la technologie des semi-conducteurs, en particulier dans les transistors et les diodes, en raison de sa capacité à conduire l'électricité dans certaines conditions.
