Description :
L'acide permanganique (HMnO4), sel de potassium, communément connu sous le nom de permanganate de potassium, est un composé inorganique avec la formule KMnO4. Il se présente sous forme de cristaux violets foncés ou presque noirs qui sont solubles dans l'eau, produisant une solution violette profonde. Ce composé se caractérise par ses fortes propriétés oxydantes, ce qui le rend utile dans diverses applications, y compris le traitement de l'eau, la désinfection et comme réactif dans la synthèse organique. Le permanganate de potassium est également utilisé en médecine pour traiter certaines affections cutanées en raison de ses propriétés antiseptiques.
