3,5-Dimethyl-4-hydroxycinnamic acid
CAS :3,5-Dimethyl-4-hydroxycinnamic acid is a metabolite of cinnamic acid found in plants. It is a carboxylate that can be used as an ion exchanger or as a solubilizing agent for the preparation of lectins. The sequences for 3,5-dimethyl-4-hydroxycinnamic acid have been determined and it has been shown to increase the metabolic rate of epidermal cells and increase the size of epidermal growths. It also has been shown to bind to epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor sites and stimulate epidermal cell growth. 3,5-Dimethyl-4-hydroxycinnamic acid is able to solubilize lectins from banana peels and it is considered an excellent profile marker for these proteins. This compound is thermodynamically stable at high temperatures, making it an excellent preparative agent for many purposes including ion exchange chromatography.Formule :C11H12O3Degré de pureté :Min. 95%Couleur et forme :PowderMasse moléculaire :192.21 g/mol
