CAS :Beryllium sulfate tetrahydrate is a chemical compound that is used as a cross-linking agent in polymers. It has been found to have a matrix effect on light emission and can be used in the fabrication of optoelectronic devices. Beryllium sulfate tetrahydrate has also been shown to have carcinogenic potential in animals, but not humans. The organometallic beryllium sulfate tetrahydrate binds to coumarin derivatives and phosphorus pentoxide and emits light when heated. This compound can be analyzed using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) or thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).
