CAS :1,3-Dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone is a chemical intermediate used in the synthesis of various drugs. It is a dihydroxy dimethyl with an oxidation potential of +0.25 V vs. NHE (NHE = 0.00 V vs. SCE). 1,3-Dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone has been shown to have antimicrobial properties in the form of kinetic energy and intramolecular hydrogen bonding. This chemical intermediate has also been shown to be a potent inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptor kinase activity and basic protein kinase activity, as well as an anticancer agent for hypoxic tumors due to its ability to inhibit sodium carbonate.
