7-Amino-5H,7H-dibenzo[b,D]azepin-6-one is an enantiomer of 7-amino-5H,7H-dibenzo[b,d]azepin-6(10H)one. It is a chiral organic compound that can be synthesized by the epimerization of 2-(2′hydroxyphenyl)ethanol with sodium methoxide in methanol. This compound can also be synthesized by a sequence of reactions including racemization and enantioselective synthesis.
