    2-Aminoethan-1,1,2,2-d4-ol is a fatty acid amide that is produced by mammalian cells. It is an endocannabinoid and binds to the cannabinoid receptor CB1. 2-Aminoethan-1,1,2,2-d4-ol has been shown to have antinociceptive effects in mice and ethanolamine. This drug also has a role in phosphatidylcholine synthesis and can inhibit chemical reactions in phosphatidylethanolamine.
