Applications N-Acetyl-N-(phenylmethyl)-propanamide is an intermediate in the synthesis of N-Ethyl-N-nitroso-1-propanamine-d4 (E817997) and isotope labelled version of N-Ethyl-N-nitroso-1-propanamine. N-Ethyl-N-nitroso-1-propanamine is a derivative of N-Nitrosodiethylamine (N525465),a widely occurring nitrosamine that is one of the most important environmental carcinogens primarily inducing tumors of liver.
