CAS :2-Naphthylamine-8-sulfonic acid is a sulfonic acid with the molecular formula CHNSO2H. It has been shown to exhibit carcinogenic activity in vivo and in vitro. 2-Naphthylamine-8-sulfonic acid is an important intermediate for the production of other sulfonated compounds and as such, can be used in the production of dyes and pharmaceuticals. This compound also has magnetic resonance spectroscopy properties that can be used to identify its impurities, which are sodium salts, interacting compounds, or impurities that may interfere with absorption measurements.
