    <p>Pyridazine-3-sulfonamide (PYR) is a coumarin derivative that has been shown to have potent inhibition of TNF-α. It is also an n-oxide, which may be important in the prevention of cancer. Hydrogen bonding between PYR and thp-1 cells was observed in molecular modeling studies. This drug has been shown to be effective against inflammatory diseases and autoimmune disorders, as well as being a potent inhibitor of TNF-α. It is also a sulfa drug with potential for treating cancer.</p>
