    <p>4-Bromo-3-chloropyridin-2-amine is a chlorinating agent that reacts with the substrate to form a halogenated product. It is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of organic compounds, such as 3-methylpyrazole and 8-hydroxyquinoline. 4-Bromo-3-chloropyridin-2-amine can be prepared by reacting chloroperoxidase with hydrogen peroxide and chloride in the presence of potassium chloride.
