Methyl 2-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-methylbutanoate
CAS :Methyl 2-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-methylbutanoate (MEMB) is a sulfoxide that has been shown to stabilize the carbon nanotubes. MEMB is added to the carbon nanotube solution before it is heated to a temperature of 150°C. It was found that MEMB stabilizes the carbon nanotubes by forming a coordinated complex with the carbonyl group on the ends of the tubes. The MEMB molecule can then be removed from the tube by heating at higher temperatures, typically around 250°C. This process was also found to produce more long-term stability in the tubes, even after repeated heating cycles.Formule :C12H15ClO2Degré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :226.7 g/mol
