2-(3,5-Dimethyl-1,1-dioxo-2H-1,2,6-thiadiazin-4-yl)acetic acid is a protein inhibitor that binds to the peptidase domain of the proteasome and blocks the degradation of proteins. It has been shown to inhibit protein interactions in cells. 2-(3,5-Dimethyl-1,1-dioxo-2H-1,2,6-thiadiazin-4-yl)acetic acid is a ligand for receptor tyrosine kinase and competes with ATP for binding to purinergic receptors. This compound has been used as a research tool and an antibody production reagent.
