CAS :
Bismuth subcitrate potassium is a viscous, biodegradable, diagnostic contrast agent that has been used in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal tract diseases. It is also used as a pump inhibitor to treat gastric ulcers and other conditions. Bismuth subcitrate potassium has been shown to have anti-cancer effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by interfering with H2 receptor signaling. The drug's mechanism of action is not fully understood but it may be related to its bacterial antibiotic activity. Bismuth subcitrate potassium binds galacturonic acid in mammalian tissue and bacteria, inhibiting their growth. This drug also has some antibacterial activity against wild-type strains of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus but does not kill mutant strains that are resistant to bismuth salts or antibiotics.
Formule :C12H8BiK5O14Degré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :780.66 g/molBISMUTHSUBCITRATEPOTASSIUM
