Description :
Polystyrène est un polymère hydrocarboné aromatique synthétique fabriqué à partir du monomère styrène, caractérisé par sa rigidité et sa polyvalence. C'est un thermoplastique incolore et transparent qui peut être solide ou expansé, selon sa formulation. Polystyrène présente d'excellentes propriétés d'isolation, ce qui le rend largement utilisé dans les matériaux d'emballage, les couverts jetables et les panneaux d'isolation. Sa faible densité et sa facilité de traitement contribuent à sa popularité dans diverses applications, y compris les biens de consommation et la construction.
