Chitosane

Description :
Chitosane est un biopolymère dérivé de la chitine, que l'on trouve dans les exosquelettes de crustacés tels que les crevettes et les crabes. Il se caractérise par son apparence en poudre blanche à blanc cassé et est soluble dans des solutions acides, ce qui le distingue de son précurseur, la chitine, qui est insoluble dans l'eau. Chitosane présente plusieurs propriétés notables, notamment la biocompatibilité, la biodégradabilité et la non-toxicité, ce qui le rend adapté à diverses applications dans les domaines médical, agricole et alimentaire. Sa capacité à former des gels et des films permet son utilisation dans des systèmes de délivrance de médicaments, des pansements pour les plaies et comme conservateur alimentaire. De plus, Chitosane possède des propriétés antimicrobiennes, qui peuvent inhiber la croissance de certaines bactéries et champignons.
