5-(2,4-Dimethylphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-amine
CAS :5-(2,4-Dimethylphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-amine is a potent and selective small molecule antagonist of the N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR). It inhibits the neurotoxic effects of glutamate on neurons in vitro. This compound has been used as a research tool to study the role of NMDA receptors in neuronal cell death and to investigate the development of novel therapies for Alzheimer's disease. 5-(2,4-Dimethylphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-amine binds to the NMDAR at a site distinct from that occupied by MK801 and other channel blockers.Formule :C10H11N3ODegré de pureté :Min. 95%Masse moléculaire :189.21 g/mol
