Applications Epirubicin glucuronide is a prodrug and a metabolite of Epirubicin (HCl: E588650). Epirubicin is an antineoplastic agent that is used as primary treatment for advanced breast cancer. Epirubicin is also used in conjunction with other cytotoxic agents to treat a number of cancerous malignancies such as ovarian cancer.
