It acts as an inhibitor of γ-synuclein (SNCG) by binding to SNCG, thereby competing with and disrupting the SNCG-BubR1 interaction. This action enhances the sensitivity of breast cancer cells to antimicrotubule agents such as nocodazole and paclitaxel. ANK peptide is useful for tumor research.
