CAS :4-Methoxycarbonylphenylboronic acid is an organic compound that can be synthesized from biphenyl. It is a diazonium salt with a bidentate ligand and a carbonyl group, which allows it to form an intermolecular hydrogen bond. The phenyl group of 4-methoxycarbonylphenylboronic acid can be oxidized to the corresponding carboxylic acid or reduced to the corresponding alcohol. 4-Methoxycarbonylphenylboronic acid is also soluble in halides, iodinations, and mercaptoacetic acid.
