It is also an intermediate in synthesizing Bis(2,3-dibromopropyl) Phosphate-d10 (B426237), which an isotope labelled analog of Bis(2,3-dibromopropyl) Phosphate. Bis(2,3-dibromopropyl) Phosphate is a derivative of Tris(2,3-dibromopropyl) Phosphate, a widely used flame retardant in plastic and textiles.
