It has been shown to inhibit the growth of human tumor cells in culture and inhibit the proliferation of leukemia cells in mice. 1H,4H,5H,6H,7H,8H-Pyrrolo[3,2-c]azepin-4-one binds reversibly to the ATP binding site on the ATP dependent protein kinase.
