It can be used to measure vitamin A, vitamin D, and vitamin E concentrations in food products. 2-(Propan-2-yl)-6-propylaniline has been shown to have a sensitivity of 0.01 μg/mL for each individual fat soluble vitamin. This reagent can be used as an on-line analysis technique with a liquid chromatography system and it has been shown to coexist well with other compounds.
