CAS :Quinoxaline-2-sulfonamide is a drug that inhibits the enzyme gyrase, which plays an important role in DNA replication and transcription. It has been shown to be effective against pancreatic cancer cells and T-cell lymphomas. Quinoxaline-2-sulfonamide binds to the receptor on the surface of the cancer cell and prevents it from dividing. This drug also inhibits inflammatory diseases by binding to receptors in target tissues. The pharmacophore of this drug is similar to that of quinine, which has been shown to inhibit virus growth. Quinoxaline-2-sulfonamide can be administered orally for the treatment of some cancers, including stomach cancer, colon cancer, and breast cancer.

CAS :6-Bromo-3-methylisoquinoline is a potent inhibitor of protein kinase C (PKC), which is a family of enzymes that are involved in the regulation of many cellular processes. 6-Bromo-3-methylisoquinoline has been shown to selectively inhibit PKC. It also inhibits phosphorylation and induces apoptosis in cancer cells. 6-Bromo-3-methylisoquinoline inhibits PKC by binding to the catalytic site and blocking the ATP binding site, thereby preventing ATP from activating PKC. This drug has shown dose dependent inhibition on PKC with an IC50 of 1 µM at 100 µM concentration. The IC50 for this drug was found to be between 1 and 10 µM when tested on cellular assays, depending on the cell type used.
