This Reagecon Density Standard Premium Range 1.0755 g/mL at 25°C is manufactured and tested in accordance with ASTM D1480-12 for testing of density or relative density (specific and API gravity). It is tested by Bingham Pycnometry and can be used as a calibration or control standard for density measurement by pycnometer, vibrational, or hydrometer (specific gravity) based techniques. - The Test Method used by Reagecon for testing density standards using Bingham Pycnometers is accredited to ISO 17025 (A2LA Ref: 6739.03). The product is prepared gravimetrically on a weight/weight basis. Both solute and solvent are weighed on a balance calibrated by OIML traceable weights. Reagecon’s Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) 10 mg/L Standard is aqueous based, non-hazardous and accurate to a specification of ± 1%. The product because it is aqueous based, has a low temperature coefficient of variation and guaranteed stability throughout its entire shelf life, even after opening the bottle. The above TDS value is obtained by measurement of Conductivity at 25°C and conversion to TDS using a conversion factor of 0.45. Test Method used was TPCOND. Measurement taken by comparison with a standard prepared from National Institute of Standards and Technology (USA), Standard Reference Material 999 (Potassium Chloride).
