This standard is an aqueous suspension of a formazin type product that carries all of the advantages of formazin but eliminates its shortcomings. It is stable; safe; EPA approved and accurate. - Reagecon have developed a proprietary synthetic process that produces a family of products called Turbiform™. These products combine most of the positive attributes of the formazin and AMCO APEA-1 range of standards already available from Reagecon; whilst eliminating most of the shortcomings. Reagecon pH Electrode Storage Solution is a specially formulated and buffered solution containing 3M Potassium Chloride (KCl), with a special preservative, designed to optimise functionality, accuracy, responsiveness and life span of a pH electrode. Every pH electrode must be stored in such a solution, between readings or when not in use. - A pH electrode is an extremely sensitive device and almost all pH errors are as a result of an electrode fault.
