• Description: The somatostatin analog pasireotide is a multi-receptor ligand with high binding affinity for somatostatin receptor subtypes sst(1,2,3) and sst(5). It suppresses ACTH secretion from pituitary adenomas. CAS-number (diacetate): 396091-77-3.
