• Description: Cathepsin G (EC 3.4.21.20, CAS No [56645-49-9], [107200-92-0]) is an enzyme that belongs to a family of serine proteases, as it has a serine in its active site. One unit of Cathepsin G will hydrolyze 1.0 μmol of succinyl-alanine-alanine-proline-phenylalanine-p-nitroanilide per minute at pH 7.5 and 37°C. It also cleaves proteoglycans, collagen and angiotesinogen.Human Neutrophil Cathepsin G is supplied as clear, colorless to light yellow solution at ≥5 U/mL concentration in 0.05 M sodium acetate, 0.8 M sodium chloride and pH 5.5. Store at 2-8 °C on arrival.
